And assuredly We have created human being from ringing clay of loam moulded. 26 and the jinn created We before of fire flaming. 27 When your Lord said to the angels, "I will create the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay. 28 "So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him." 29 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 30 Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated. 31 He said: O Iblis! What aileth thee that thou art not among the prostrate? 32 Said he, 'I would never bow myself before a mortal whom Thou hast created of a clay of mud moulded.' 33 God said, "Then get out of here; for you are accursed, 34 and will be subjected to condemnation until the Day of Judgment." 35 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 36 Allah said: verily then thou art of the respited: 37 till the appointed time. 38 [Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all 39 except for Your chosen servants." 40 He (Allah) said: 'This is for Me the Right Path 41 verily, thou shalt have no power over My creatures - unless it be such as are [already] lost in grievous error and follow thee [of their own will]: 42 Hell is the promised place for them all. 43 it has seven gates: and each gate has a portion of them allotted to it. 44
