۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
