Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. 26 while your Lord's own Self will remain full of majesty and glory. 27 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 28 On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. 29 Which of your Lord's laudable attributes will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 30 Soon We shall attend to you -- two big groups [of jinn and mankind]. 31 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 32 O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! 33 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 34 The flames of fire and smoke will be sent on you two, then you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 36 And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide - 37 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 38 On that Day there will be no need to ask either men or jinn about their sins. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 42 This is Gehenna, that sinners cried lies to; 43 They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water! 44 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 45
