Nay, by the Moon 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 a warning to humans, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who will be in Paradise 40 about the guilty ones: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
