۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
