Al-Hummazah
The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 covered down upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9
God the Almighty always says the truth.
