Then when the sent ones entered unto the household of Lut. 61 He said, “You are an unfamiliar people.” 62 They said: Nay, but we bring thee that concerning which they keep disputing, 63 “And we have brought to you a true command, and indeed we are truthful.” 64 so leave with your family some time in the latter part of the night, and walk behind them. Let none of you look back. Go where you are commanded." 65 And We informed him the decision of this command, that at morning the root of the disbelievers would be cut off. 66 And the people of the city came rejoicing. (* To the house of Prophet Lut.) 67 He said, “These are my guests – do not dishonour me.” 68 And fear Allah and do not disgrace me." 69 They said, 'Have we not forbidden thee all beings?' 70 He said, 'These are my daughters, if you would be doing.' 71 By your life! they were blindly wandering on in their intoxication. 72 and the Cry seized them at the sunrise, 73 We turned the town upside-down and showered on them lumps of baked clay. 74 Verily, in all this there are messages indeed for those who can read the signs: 75 surely it is on a way yet remaining; 76 Most surely there is a sign in this for the believers. 77 Since the People of the Forest were unjust, 78 and We took vengeance on them. The two of them were upon a roadway manifest. 79
