BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52
