What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 From the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 What, is every one of them eager to be admitted to the Garden of Bliss? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 to exchange them with others better than they; nothing can outstrip Us! 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!- 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
