The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun is covered, 1 And when the stars shall dart down, 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 The ten-month pregnant female camels are abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 Verily this is the word of a noble message-bearer; 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 So where are you going? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
