The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
