Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 5 As justification or warning, 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 And such fruits as they desire. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 And those that bring down the Reminder 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
