The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 They sat by it 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
