The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
