And now that We replace one message by another - since God is fully aware of what He bestows from on high, step by step - they [who deny the truth] are wont to say: "Thou but inventest it!" Nay, but most of them do not understand it! 101 Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims. 102 And indeed We know that they (polytheists and pagans) say: "It is only a human being who teaches him (Muhammad SAW)." The tongue of the man they refer to is foreign, while this (the Quran) is a clear Arabic tongue. 103 Those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah, Allah does not guide them for them is a painful punishment. 104 It is only those who believe not in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, who fabricate falsehood, and it is they who are liars. 105 As for anyone who denies God after having once attained to faith - and this, to be sure, does not apply to one who does it under duress, the while his heart remains true to his faith, but [only, to] him who willingly opens up his heart to a denial of the truth: upon all such [falls] God's condemnation, and tremendous suffering awaits them: 106 This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: and Allah will not guide those who reject Faith. 107 These are the ones whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed; and they are the neglectful. 108 So it occurred that they are the losers in the Hereafter. 109 ۞ But verily thy Lord,- to those who leave their homes after trials and persecutions,- and who thereafter strive and fight for the faith and patiently persevere,- Thy Lord, after all this is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 110
