Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
