Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been one of those who acknowledge the glory of God, 143 he would certainly have remained in its belly till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 So ask their opinion: “(Are you convinced) that your Lord should have daughters and you should have sons? 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Is it not that they say, from their own invention, 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 God is far above what they attribute to Him, 159 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 Except one who is (destined) to burn in Hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 We glorify God." 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 Already Our Word has preceded to Our servants, the Envoys; 171 that, verily, they - they indeed - would be succoured, 172 and that Our hosts shall triumph. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 Withdraw from them awhile 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
