▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 abounding in branches -- 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
