And whoever is averse to the Remembrance of the Most Gracious, We appoint a devil upon him, who stays with him. 36 and they bar them from the Way, though they themselves think that they are guided. 37 When such a person comes to Us, he will say [to his comrade], "If only you had been as far away from me as east is from west. What an evil comrade!" 38 Because of the harm you did, it would be of no benefit to you today, you are partners in the punishment. 39 Can you [Prophet] make the deaf hear? Or guide either the blind or those who are in manifest error? 40 And even if We take you (O Muhammad SAW) away, We shall indeed take vengeance on them. 41 and whether We show thee [or do not show thee in this world] the fulfillment of what We have promised them - verily, We have full power over them! 42 Therefore, hold fast to that which is revealed to you, indeed, you are on the Straight Path. 43 And verily it is an admonition unto thee and thy people; and presently ye will be questioned. 44 And question thou our messengers whom We sent before thee; did We appoint any deities other than (Allah) Most Gracious, to be worshipped? 45
