▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
