Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 separating one from another, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a known calculated term. 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
