Indeed those who denied Our signs and were conceited towards them – the gates of the heavens will not be opened for them nor will they enter Paradise until the camel goes through the needle’s eye*; and this is the sort of reward We give the guilty. (* Which will never happen.) 40 Gehenna (Hell) shall be their cradle, and layers of fire shall cover them. As such We recompense the harmdoers. 41 And those who believed and worked righteous works - We burthen not a soul except according to its capacity, they shall be fellows of the Garden; therein they shall be abiders. 42 And We will remove whatever of ill-feeling is in their breasts; the rivers shall flow beneath them and they shall say: All praise is due to Allah Who guided us to this, and we would not have found the way had it not been that Allah had guided us; certainly the apostles of our Lord brought the truth; and it shall be cried out to them that this is the garden of which you are made heirs for what you did. 43 Then the companions of Paradise will call out to the companions of the Fire: 'What our Lord promised we have found to be true, have you too, found the promise of your Lord to be true' 'Yes' they shall answer, and a Caller will announce between them that the curse of Allah is upon the harmdoers, 44 upon those who hinder men from the path of Allah and seek to make it crooked; and disbelieve in the Hereafter.' 45 And between them is a veil, and on the ramparts there shall stand men who will know each by their marks. To the companions of Paradise they shall call: 'Peace be upon you' Yet they did not enter it on account of their eagerness. 46 ۞ And when they turn their eyes towards the companions of the Fire, they will say: 'Lord, do not cast us among the harmdoers' 47
