The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 On studded thrones. 15 facing one another. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and amid the extended shade 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 And made them virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For those on the right hand; 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
