In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 and the severally severing 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a known calculated term. 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
