And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. 82 So the rumbling overtook them in the morning; 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 We have given you the seven dual (verses, Al Fatihah) and the Mighty Holy Reading (Koran). 87 Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 So, by your Lord, We would most certainly question them all, 92 Of what they used to do. 93 Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah. 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99
