AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Moses. Behold, he was a chosen one, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet. 51 We called him from the right slope of the Mount, and brought him nigh in communion. 52 And We gave him his brother Aaron, of Our mercy, a Prophet. 53 And mention Ismail in the Book; surely he was truthful in (his) promise, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 54 And he ordered his people to pray and to give charity and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 And recite in the Book the account of Idris. He was a man of truth, a Prophet; 56 And We lifted him to a high position. (Living with soul & body in heaven, after his death.) 57 Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded them a posterity who neglected the prayers and followed lusts; so presently they shall meet with perdition. 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 There, they shall hear no idle talk, but only peace. And there they shall be given their provision at dawn and at the evening. 62 It is the Paradise that We will bequeath to those among Our bondmen who remain pious. 63 And we descend not except by the command of thy Lord: His is whatsoever is before us and whatsoever is behind us and whatsoever is in-between; and thy Lord is not a forgetter 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that which is betwixt the twain; so Him worship thou, and endure patiently in His worship; knowest thou any as His compeer? 65
