Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Illustrious scribes 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
