Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
