The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
