When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 When they reached the junction of the two seas they found out that they had forgotten all about the fish (which they had carried for food). The fish found its way into the sea. 61 And when they had gone further, he said to his assisting youth; 'Bring us our breakfast; we are worn out from our journey' 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 Then they found one of Our votaries, whom We had blessed and given knowledge from Us. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 He (Moses) said: 'If Allah wills, you shall find me patient, I shall not disobey your order' 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
