The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
