The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
