The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
