THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
