The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
