Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the morning hours 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
