Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
