The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
