Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
