Have you not considered that all that is between the heavens and the earth glorifies God and that the birds spread their wings in the air to glorify God? He knows everyone's prayers and praising; God has absolute knowledge of what they do. 41 To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and to Him do all things return. 42 See you not that Allah drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap of layers, and you see the rain comes forth from between them. And He sends down from the sky hail (like) mountains, (or there are in the heaven mountains of hail from where He sends down hail), and strike therewith whom He will, and averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its (clouds) lightning nearly blinds the sight. [Tafsir At-Tabari]. 43 Allah causeth the revolution of the day and the night. Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for those who see. 44 God created every moving thing from water: One crawls on its belly, one walks on two legs, another moves on four. God creates whatsoever He will. Indeed God has power over everything. 45 We have certainly sent down distinct verses. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path. 46 They say: 'We believe in Allah and the Messenger and obey' But a party of them turn away after this. Those are not believers. 47 and when they are called to God and His Messenger so that he may judge between them, some of them turn away. 48 And if the truth be on their side, they come to him quickly, obedient. 49 Is it that there is a disease in their hearts? or do they doubt, or are they in fear, that Allah and His Messenger will deal unjustly with them? Nay, it is they themselves who do wrong. 50
