Allah it is Who has made cattle for you so that you ride some of them and from some of them you derive food. 79 you have other benefits in them too. You can reach any destination you wish on them: they carry you by land, as ships carry you on the sea. 80 He shows you His signs; which then of the signs of God will you deny? 81 What, have they not journeyed in the land and beheld how was the end of those before them? They were stronger than themselves in might and left firmer traces in the earth; yet that they earned did not avail them. 82 So, when their Messengers brought them the clear signs, they rejoiced in what knowledge they had, and were encompassed by that they mocked at. 83 And when they saw Our Might, they said: 'We believe in Allah alone, and we disbelieve in that we used to associate with Him' 84 So their accepting of faith did not benefit them when they saw Our punishment; the tradition of Allah which has passed among His bondmen; and there were the disbelievers ruined. 85
