The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
