The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
The Striking! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
