Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
