Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all beings!' 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 He then began striking them with his right hand, unseen by the people. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 [And he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Bestow upon me the gift of [a son who shall be] one of the righteous!" 100 Wherefore We gave him the glad tidings of a boy gentle. 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
