Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 watching over you 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
