The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 And what shall teach thee what is the night-star? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),- 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 And it is not amusement. 14 They are cunningly devising, 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
