And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. 82 But the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the morning hour, 83 and whatever they had been earning proved of no avail. 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 [so] turn, not thine eyes [longingly] towards the worldly benefits which We have granted unto some of those [that deny the truth]. And neither grieve over those [who refuse to heed thee,] but spread the wings of thy tenderness over the believers, 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 And severed their Scripture into fragments. 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 for what they have done 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 and those who set up other gods with Allah, indeed, they will soon know. 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
