▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 right before your very eyes? 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
