The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
